How it works

DoctorNika connects you with a verified super-specialist for a clear, written second opinion — usually without travelling to a metro hospital. Here is exactly what happens after you start a case.

1. Tell us about the case

Choose whether it is a critical-care case (a loved one in the ICU, a new cancer diagnosis, a cardiac or neuro emergency, urgent major surgery) or a regular review (planned surgery, an unclear diagnosis, a long-running condition). Tell us what has been diagnosed or advised.

2. Get matched with the right super-specialist

Pick a specialist from our panel, or let our medical team match one for you. Every specialist holds a DM, MCh or equivalent super-speciality qualification and is verified before joining the panel.

Critical-care cases get a care-coordinator call-back within 30 minutes and specialist review within 24 hours once the reports are in. Regular reviews are completed within 3 working days of receiving all reports.

3. Pay securely and share the reports

Pay online by UPI, card or net banking. Your care coordinator then sends a secure link on WhatsApp to share the reports. Helpful documents include:

  • Discharge summary or the treating doctor’s notes
  • Scan reports and images (CT, MRI, PET, angiography — the actual images help, not just the report)
  • Biopsy or histopathology reports
  • Recent blood tests and the list of current medicines

4. Receive your written opinion and video consult

The super-specialist reviews everything and sends a signed written opinion covering:

  • A review of the diagnosis and the reports
  • Treatment options, including non-surgical options where relevant
  • Questions worth discussing with your treating doctor

With the video plan, you and your family can speak to the specialist directly and ask every question.

Reports are shared only with the specialist reviewing your case and our care team. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Read our privacy policy.

Important

DoctorNika is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital. A second opinion supports — it does not replace — the care of your treating doctor.
